Local Addendum
Information and Regulations Pertaining to Locally Created Classes
Local classes have been created to allow for greater accessibility to our festival.
It is highly recommended that you take advantage of the Syllabus, as all disciplines have extensive classes. Competitors, teachers and parents are strongly urged to carefully study the Provincial Syllabus and the Local Addendum.
Addendum classes may be REQUESTED. Requests will be considered up to the beginning of January for inclusion in the local addendum the following festival year.
The Local Classes Committee’s aim is to create a set of local classes to parallel the provincial syllabus. Our Association believes that the most important aspects of music festival are the participation of students and the learning derived from the adjudicator’s remarks.
